...but Jello Biafra doesn't!
Jello Biafra condemned his former bandmates in the Dead Kennedys for licensing their classic song, "Too Drunk to Fuck" to the upcoming Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez double feature, Grindhouse.
Jello's condemnation is due to the placement of the song in a rape scene during 'Planet Terror':
"Tarantino himself is pointing a gun at a disabled amputee woman's head yelling "Dance, Bitch!" as the Nouvelle Vague cover of "Too Drunk to Fuck" plays from a boombox. The terrified woman later "wins" by killing Tarantino, but that excuse does not rescue this at all. I wrote every note of that song and this is not what it was meant for."
Big ups to Jello for at least speaking out against this.

Hollywood obviously loves rape.
Almost every major movie inserts an act of unconsensual sex into it.
This is probably not surprising me until one starts to take note of every nonconsensual sex act in film.
(Just recently I saw 300 which inserted a rape scene into the story that wasn't even in the book or the historical story!)
The book
Cunt does a great job of bringing this to light and explaining it... as well as offering some ways to act against Hollywood's love of rape.

Fuck Hollywood!
Fuck Grindhouse! Do not go see this film!
