60 years: يوم النكبة

Nakba Day (15 May) meaning "day of the catastrophe" is an annual day of commemoration of the Palestinian Peoples' displacement and dispossession. Palestinian refugees and their descendants are estimated to number over 4 million people.

The creation of the state of Israel was the result of a campaign of terror and ethnic cleansing by Zionist militias. For 60 years, Israel has maintained their apartheid system and genocidal policies towards Palestine. Today it continues in full strength with the lackey dog, Abbas (Abu Mazen), and the strangling of the world's largest prison/reservation/concentration camp; Gaza.

In San Francisco and many other cities, we will be celebrating Palestinian culture and struggle and commemorating the nakba. Come on by!
In Anaheim, Al-Awda is hosting their Convention.
(Big ups to Herbivore Restaurants for being a sponsor of the SF event!!)

Don't let the Zionists claim this anniversary with their myths and fables of some divine right to stolen land.
