Oakland: No Snitching!

Oakland Police Department released photos of people allegedly looting and destroying property during the protests following last week’s verdict in the 2009 shooting death of Oscar Grant. 15 photos are on the department’s website. One can only assume these are the out-of-town "Anglo" anarchists the City has been talking so much about.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for each person identified. Anyone who takes that money is an enemy of the people of Oakland.

No link provided for a reason.

OPD say they received these photos from protestors and people observing the rally. This brings up a larger point- Did you see how many people were out there with cameras?!?! I don't know what people think these photographers are doing or why they weren't driven away. Obviously some, if not most, of them were pigs (whether professional or amateur).

The police are full of ideas of who to blame for demonstrating/rioting in the face of the verdict. All of it to distract Oakland from the real reason- Killer cops and the City that protects them!
