a brief chat
Everything Is Dangerous posted a "brief chat" between a guy named Joshua and my friend/comrade, Harjit Singh Gill.
They discuss capitalism, socialism, anarchism, and the state of the world. I STRONGLY believe this chat is one that we should all be having and I encourage everyone to read it... and then study up... and then build with one another... and change this world we live in.
So first, I think it’s imperative anarchists and socialists of all stripes up the ante on their level of understanding with regard to capitalism. Pretending it will collapse while we sit on our hands is naive at best. So far, the free market is actually more of a threat than we are. But let’s remember, despite all the battles our ancestors fought, they ultimately didn’t defeat capitalism. It survived, and we barely did. Why is our side so content with being mediocre in our understanding of how capitalism functions?..

Totally crazy - been thinking alot recently about "mediocrity" and "apathy" and being "content". Interesting how this article appears in my life right as these thoughts are penetrating my brain.
