Kanye <3's Mistakes
This is hardly blogworthy but since it would seem like I swing from Kanye West's nutsack sometimes, I figured it deserved some equal airtime.
During the taping of VH1’s ‘Storytellers,’ West brought up Chris Brown and asked the crowd, “Can’t we give Chris a break?"
Look, I don't know what went down between Chris Brown and Rihanna but EVERYTHING indicates that basically Chris Brown beat the shit out of his girlfriend who did NOT call the police or press charges against him!
Typical.
As Yeezy loves to point out, rap is a very patriarchal macho world (just like greater society). While high profile people like Jay Z have helped inject some sympathy into the situation, people like the scumbag NY Post have towed the line that Rihanna must have deserved it. Even hipster Upper Playground have released a shirt essentially pitting Jay Z as the male savior to Rihanna's helpless victim.

Apparently, Yeezy also dissed Thom Yorke and gave props to OJ Simpson... but those are also cut from the televised version.
