Blind Side White Knight

I can't believe acting hack Sandra Bullock and her plastic face won the Oscar for Best Actress. The film for which Bullock won, Blindside, is about a White Southern Republican family that get to play saviour for a poor Black man. It is based on a true story and only made it into a book and movie because of White America's god complex.



Vanessa Williams tries to impart some excellent anti-racist criticism of the bullshit film.
She is interrupted by know-it-all White Barbara Walters with some naive 'can't we all just get along' nonsense.
Joy Behar goes on to give a great systemic analysis building on what Vanessa Williams started to say. (Behar is allowed to continue speaking... because Whites apparently know how to speak on Black issues better than Blacks?)
Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck then go on a reactionary rant about how Black people and public education destroy Black lives.
