Soft Focus
I think Ian Svenonius has 'played' a character for so long that there is no distinguishing from his character and whoever he is or once was. I think most of what he does/has done is genius.
Unbeknownst to me, Svenonius had an interview program on VBS.TV called Soft Focus. It is an interesting series.
In particular I recommend Ian Mackaye's appearance. Some real gems are dropped.
