Hillsborough 1989

Today is the twentieth anniversary of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, when fans of Liverpool FC were crushed at the Hillsborough football stadium in Sheffield. The fans were caged in by metal fences and as a result were unable to escape on to pitch when the crush developed. 96 people died.

"South South Yorkshire - mass murderer
How can you sleep at night, sleep at night"

"Yorkshire policemen chat with folded arms, people try and save their fellow fans"

The inquiry into the disaster, the Taylor Report, named the cause as the failure of police.
(Fuck off to all the assholes who just want to blame Scousers!)

Let us all also not forget the 22 dead in Côte d'Ivoire last month.
