Football Ritual of Harrassment
At halftime of the American football Jets’ home games, several hundred men line one of Giants Stadium’s two pedestrian ramps at Gate D. Three deep in some areas, they whistle, jump up and down, yell obscenity-laced chant, and demanding that women in the gathering expose their breasts.
Somehow this is acceptable behavior.
The NFL refuse to take responsibility. The stadium security refuse to do anything citing "free speech." Even the sports journalists act like because it is common at football games, horse races, and NASCAR douchebag gatherings, it is alright (even linking it in someconfusing way to Janet Jackson's boob).
Those men should all be flogged like Jesus in Mel Gibson's flick... Or we could write to sports news and the NFL.
