Mao movie

Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal are set to make a film about the rise of Mao. It is being based on Roy Rowan's memoir "Chasing the Dragon: A Veteran Journalist's Firsthand Account of the 1949 Chinese Revolution." The plan is to weave the story into a love story meets epic drama.
