The US has now warned Iran of "painful consequences" if Iran does not comply to end their uranium enrichment.
All of a sudden, Russia has stopped backing Iran and seems to be backing US/Israel.

Iran has stated: "Iran’s armed forces, through their experience of war, will turn this land into a killing field for any enemy aggressors."

Iran wants to enrich uranium for domestic nuclear energy.
The US and Israel fear Iran will abtain nuclear weapons and become a threat to Israel.
